Antonietta Savo

Secondary School Principal

Ms. Savo, a member of The Ontario College of Teachers, has a Masters of Education with a focus on Literacy.  In her role as an educator, she has been an Elementary and Secondary Teacher, Guidance Counsellor, and Principal.

She shares her experience as a classroom teacher, Guidance Counsellor, teacher of English Language Learners, and leadership as a Principal to create a positive and collaborative learning environment that enhances student learning and success.

Victoria Augustynek

Secondary School Vice Principal

Mrs. Augustynek is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers with over 40 years experience in education.  She has been an Elementary and Secondary school teacher, department head, arts consultant and principal.

Mrs. Augustynek has taught the Additional Qualifications Course for teachers at York University and implemented a variety of arts education workshops for students and teachers. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree and Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University, and a Masters of Education with a focus on Arts Education from Durham University, England.

Mrs. Augustynek is committed to helping all students reach their academic and personal goals.

Charlene Cannito

Elementary School Principal

Charlene Cannito holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from York University, an Honours Diploma in Montessori Early Childhood Education (MACTE) from Newborough Teacher Training Institute, and a specialist certificate in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language (TESOL/TEFL)

Mrs. Cannito has been a part of the Century family for over 15 years, teaching Primary French, Casa Montessori, Grade 1, and English as a Second Language. Her passion for teaching is fuelled by her commitment to ensure that all students reach their potential and achieve personal development and academic success.
